Please help!! random problems, and now car cant get in to gear while driving

Hey guys,

I own a 1999 Miata, and am having a bunch of random problems. It started about 2 weeks ago.

First there was a coolant leak when the AC was on, didn't really thing of it much in the time, then a couple days later, after a long drive, I stopped by mcdonalds and my car wouldn't start, left it there for like 4hrs, wouldn't do anything, the battery was fine, so I thought the starter was dead.

Got it towed over, and a couple days later when I got the time to look at it, the car started right up with 0 problems.

Now just earlier today, on my way to work, every time the clutch was depressed, the car started to make weird noises, and even shook a bit.

Then later as I was going back home my car refused to let me change gears while the motor is running,
But I could start the car in gear, no problems.
Also could go through all gear super smooth while car is off.

The only new mods are about a month ago I installed a Mishimoto radiator + fans + hoses, and a raceland header (deleted the EGR),
but seems like too much of a coincidence, I'm having all these issues.

Any ideas? Thanks for the help in advanced.

Oh car has about 60k miles, stock clutch.

(not sure if this is the right section, since the latest problem is with the clutch thought this would be good. If not mods feel free to move)

Fluid was changed before my last track day in october. Not sure how it could be low, but I'll def give that a check.

Shifting issues sound like the classic dead/dying slave cylinder.

i had shifting issue a few weeks ago. it was a leaky slave, replaced and car shifts perfect.

If you are losing fluid it's the slave, if it doesn't leak, check the MC

if its your slave, have fun with the bottom bolt.

Yeah, by your symptoms I would say slave cyl too but hopefully you've already checked that by now since everyone else already said it.. lol
