replacment axles nowhere to be found!!
So im looking for some cheap replacement axles, tried
Advance auto
Napa
Autozone
Im gonna try carquest tomm. But so far no one has them in stock, and their distributors dont have them either. Every one is back ordered. The reason i am replacing is because of the plate on the back off the flange is spewing grease (94 with stub shafts)
Anyone else had issues getting axles ?

yeah, as i said there is nothing wrong with mine, other than the cover on the back of the flange is leaking grease and its coming out between the axle and stub shaft and going everywhere. So im just gonna throw some 3M scotchweld around the seam and run them till they are dead

Did you trim the cover on the axle seal like I told you to? If you bought new seals, they came with a metal flange designed to keep dirt out on the '99+ one piece axles. Your stub axles already have this flange. The two will interfere, the axles won't fully seat, and you'll leak. Cut one of them off, your problems will be solved.

I bought the correct seals, they are exactly the same as what came out. My problem has to do with the axle itself . Not the stub shaft and seals on the diff. There is a steel cover on the back of the axle , that cover loosened up somehow so grease from the cv can shoot out from between the axle and stub shaft.
