Skunk2 Camber kit - front

Skunk2 Pro-Series Camber Kit - Front - MiataRoadster - High-performance customer service...and parts for Roadsters Anyone have good experiences with these? Would like to decrease my camber from negative 2.6 to 1.5.

I guess it might if you're driving a Honda or Acura.

but but bro they're being sold on a site called miataroadster.com they must fit the miata.

I'm confused:
1. Why would you want to reduce the camber? (but I guess that's your thing)
2. Isn't -1.5 doable with with eccentric bolts?

asmasm 02-06-2015 07:24 PM

How low do you have to be to have -2.6 as your minimum camber? is that like a 2" pinch weld?

OP: You can use offset bushings installed backwards to reduce your camber.

Mobius 02-06-2015 10:10 PM

Just ban.

Because NO ONE needs or should have 2.6* on the street. Maybe he doesn't want to buy tires every 20k miles.

Mobius 02-07-2015 01:36 AM

But the point is twofold.

1. There should be no issues whatsoever achieving -1.5 ... unless he has done something herrafrush. In which case, tire wear is probably the least of his concerns, and ban.

2. He has linked to Honda parts. There isn't even an equivalent part for a Miata. So a complete waste of time for everyone involved in this thread. Which is why I'm now done with it.

That is a LOT of miles on one set of tires for me. -2.6° isn't that crazy either; it's that what is implicit here is that the car is so low that it can't be fixed. #LIFTKIT

guttedmiata 02-07-2015 07:19 AM

I understand the OP is a moron. I was simply responding to EricJs question because he implied 2.6* isn't too much. Which would also potentially make him a moron. :)

Yea major fail on my part. Isn't even for the miata derp.. I took the car to get it aligned, and the guy said that was the best he could do.. I will look into what gutted suggested. Thank you guys for the help.

turotufas 02-08-2015 02:18 AM

Hahaha, post your specs. What are you looking for up front? Wait, you really have 2.6 negative? Hahaha hahaha

Savington 02-08-2015 11:46 PM

If your car is straight, you're slammed and you should raise the car to a sensible ride height (at least 4.0" pinch weld) to reduce camber. You should have no problem running ~2deg in front, which is what an aggressive street alignment calls for.

If your car is bent, you should replace the bent stuff and realign.

If neither of these apply, your alignment guy is incompetent and you should find a new one.

This is now a sandwich thread.

Savington 02-11-2015 11:29 AM

I'd like a photo of your car sitting on level ground.
