Strange diff found on a Jap eunos roadster...Any idea's what brand??

It's a 1.6 diff
But just look at the flanges... nothing like that is used on the 89-93...
It's not a vlsd(oem mazda), the vlsd shafts are not compatible.

Looks like it's been in there from day 1...

The flanges and diff look like they are out of a 323 GTX. The cast iron nose and aluminum housing are from a Miata.

Looks like a clutch pack diff. Not that i know where it came from or anything

I think that diff is whats refferd to as a smootch case diff, theres not many on them around....

that is all i have to add....

clutch type LSD....it was available back in the day. No idea where to get rebuild parts for it today though.

Could be the mazdaspeed originally for the gtx(aftermarket), put in using gtx stubs.
