We will start a new thread when we released the BX 1175. We publish a brake clearance template so folks can check any wheel.

I think maybe there's an error or omission in the template.

Step 7, "Place hub snout from template into wheel"

Where is the hub snout in this template?

The rectangular stub on the bottom right of the schematic is 54mm. Template updated with "hub" in that area.

Thanks, I understand now. Apparently I'm the "better idiot" that inventors need to keep dumbing their products down to.

ETA, who keeps neg-catting Emilio's posts? WTF

Default Brackets only

Just added a new product page for the brackets only. Use your existing Dynalite 5.25" lug mount, 3.0" piston area (1-3/8" piston), .810 width calipers and hoses with inexpensive ND 11" rotors.
Quick googlage finds ND rotors as low as $20 + shipping. About as budget as replacement track rotors will get.. and why we designed around that offset.
Pro tip: Choose the "Brembo" version. Same dimensions but better machining on the backside improves cooling and they usually cost less than the standard ND replacement rotor

Brackets can begin shipping right away. Complete kit orders placed now will ship at the end of the month.

Awesome. I ordered mine Jan 20th so I guess I’ll be one of the first to get them. Hoping to have them in time for my Laguna track day on 2/28th.

Later orders will likely see a bit of a delay as we are waiting on more calipers from Wilwood. I sent out an email to everyone who will experience a delay. If you didn't get an email and you want to confirm, email me with your order number at info@949racing.com.

You're quite welcome and thank you for your business.

The all metric fastener thing was actually a late change. First iterations were mixed SAE & Metric and.. it just burned. The tolerance stack worked in our favor. As a bonus, we got a better fit in the caliper which helps stiffen everything.
You'll see when it goes together. No slop.

Wow, that's what I get for posting from mobile and selecting the "European cut" image size (and not cropping appropriately). Here's the point I meant to make...

JIS fastener!!!

I never would have expected a SAE fastener in this kit, but kudos for going the extra mile with the Japanese version of metric.

Rich,

Best bet for order inquiries is info@949racing.com.

That said, yes, and that's correct.
