Time for a BBK, which calipers?

My passenger side caliper is fucked. So I need to buy a new caliper obviously, but I'm trying to make sense of what I need to get, and I feel like I might as well upgrade the brakes while I'm at it.
Looks like so for;
949 BBK w/2 plain rotors
1.8 front caliper brackets
Passenger side caliper (1.6?)
I already have new 1.6 pads (and rotors actually)
So am I correct with that list? And I assume I should just replace the 1.6 caliper I now have with another 1.6 replacement? And if so the 1.6 calipers/pads work with the 1.8 brackets and corrado rotors?
I'm searching up on what I can find as we speak, but wanted to clarify what I've read so far. Also looks like I should plan on getting a prop valve as well....

I guess I was just trying to figure out if I should replace my fucked 1.6 caliper with a 1.6 replacement, or if there's any reason to get 1.8 calipers. Same question goes for the pads.
The tabs that clamp on the pads opposite of the piston are supposed to be (a tad) longer on the 1.8 calipers. If it's worth it, I don't know. Get the calipers you can find for the lowest price
Clamping force no, but supposedly the 1.8 calipers put less taper in your pads. No hard evidence to prove this though. Might as well find someone who's getting rid of both 1.8 calipers. Try www.planetmiata.com
Are you supposed to? I have been running around with oem 1.6 calipers and 1.8 brackets/pads/rotors for some time now. Didn't swap calipers from right to left side.
I don't know if there is a difference in uneven wear with the 1.6 vs. 1.8 caliper. Me, Savington, Emilio and others have put pretty good tapers on pads with the stock 1.8 caliper too.
I will say my 94 car with stock 1.8 calipers, the corrado kit, stock rear rotors, carbotech xp10 fronts, xp8 rear and the stock prop valve is just about perfectly balanced. Unless I upgrade the rear brakes or go Wilwood calipers I'm not swapping out the prop valve. Anomoly? Don't know but it's very good the way it is.

1.6->1.8 brake conversion
