Default Tip for those new to Carbotech pads

We fitted the Wilwood BBK with XP10's and put some XP8's on the rear sport brakes.

Spent ages wondering why the hell we couldn't get the XP8's to fit between the discs and calipers, it turns out you need to **** off the metal plate that is used on most other pads. The Carbotech backing plates appear to have provisions for it but with it installed they won't fit (too much meat on the pads).

It took us ages to figure this out, I thought we had a fucked caliper adjustment screw or something, but both calipers were the same. Hopefully this will save someone else out there some time.
