Default Torsen rear end strength

How much power can the torsen rear take? I'm trying to avoid the 8.8 swap for a while and was just curious what I can throw at my current diff. thanks!

It can take allot of power, as long as you aren't doing drag launches with slicks. How much power are you making? Post an intro thread so we know.

Mostly road course use. Im not planning on launching it with that rear. Long term Ill put in the 8.8 but I just dont want to shell out the cash right now

You won't have an issue. We are running a torsen in Savington's race car and it's currently 300whp. Just don't launch it and you should be fine.

The only ones I have seen break are people at the dragstrips, never heard of anyone braking one on the street or a road course. That dont mean it dont happen I have just never heard of any. HOPE THAT HELPS

Torsens are strong. Only people I see breaking them are drag racers.

You should be just fine as long as you aren't drag racing with it.
