Let's call it what it really is - the V8Roadsters diff kit. And you can get it from V8R with a driveshaft, no need for custom.

/useful info

carry on

To mate it with miata tranny?

Are you thinking that installing your rear end will be drastically different depending on your motor of choice?

No just want something that will be durable and take abuse

Then what's the question?

Huh, cool, they have an adapter so you can bolt the CTS diff to the PPF now.

But yeah, costs twice as much as a 3.6:1 R&P. Potentially useful if you're still pining for the unobtanium 3.3:1 ratio, though.

Is the kit $1500 without the diff, or do they include one at that price? I'm thinking no, so it's a lot of money.

For our retarded friend, who can't read so good.

"We utilize the Getrag in our road course and street cars. When sourcing the Getrag look for the 2006-2008. The later models have casting and seal updates. G80 series limited slip GM part numbers: 3:23 - 25978162 3:42 - 25873500 3:73 - 25873497 3:90 - 25968531 . We offer new differentials for sale. Check our GM parts section.

This kit is for stock Miata transmission and PPF. Kits for LSx and LFX conversions can be found here "

The Getrags are $250-300 from junkyards, not a significant cost relative to the rest of the kit.

PPF and Diff (depending on year) need heavy clearancing to fit. Basic mechanic skills needed for the install.

Tranny is still the weak link, not the diff.
