01 Sport brakes, needs infos.
I used to drive a turboed 92 with 1.6 brakes and HP+ all around. Since I am not the greatest/fastest driver I never had any brake fade. I was doing Solo2 and "fun lapping". I like having my own safe fun and certainly I am not out ot set any track records when I hit the track.
I am picking up an 01 Sport tomorrow and i'm wondering about brake pads.
Since the brakes are bigger and apparently alot better(never drove an 01 sport hard enough to notice yet), would an HPS be sufficient? They are alot quieter then HP+ for daily driving and i'm not a fan of switching brake pads for event.
Thanks for any input.

if you're not driving on a roadcourse then run hps or carbotech street whatevers. If you're on the track and not running xp8 or better, you're missing out.
Hawk hp+ pitted my silver 99 wheels btw...so I won't put them on my 6uls.

Hustler doesn't wash his wheels either. You have to wash your wheels after the track event.
I managed to keep my bronze volk TE-37's in as perfect condition as I received them in for over two years. I did at least 30+ sessions on multiple tracks, with multiple types of brake pads, and the wheels were not pitted or faded. Just look at Jeff_man's sig. He owns them now.
