V8Roadsters sells replacement front upper ball joints

I have a set installed and am pleased with the results. Only thing I would do different is that instead of taking them in with a MIG welder, I would have them TIG welded instead. This step isn't an absolute requirement per the instructions, but helps ensure that they don't ever come loose from the factory arms, since they are not designed for a replacement ball joint.

I pressed in MOOG joints, then tacked them in place with a mig. No track duty, but I've tried to knock them loose and they're still holding. I just used a bench vise and the steel pipe nipple I used to press out control arm bushings. Pretty easy, really
I'll likely have to find new arms if I ever need to replace the replacements though, the rebuild ones sound like a pretty good idea in the long run. The Moogs are less than $20 each, compared to $140 something for the rebuildable ones.
