Default V8 Roadsters 4 wheel BBK

Just when I thought there wasn't anymore money to be spent on the miata.
A 4 wheel BBK with an upgraded MC as well! I guess 949racing will be offering this with the 6 piston Wilwood front calipers. Still no parking brake though. Emilio posted some info on this thread at miata.net

The only way that is worth it is if the car is exclusively track driven on race rubber. That is far too much brake for a street legal tire.

I was wondering if anyone other than die hard track guys would want this on a daily driven car. No Ebrake, thats not fun.

I'd want to retail an emergency brake for a street vehicle. Just too many uses for it to not have it. Track's a different story.

E-brake on a track car is very important as well....

They are racing brakes for LSx powered cars. Purpose built race cars don't often have emergency brakes.

It's an absolutely irrational fear, but that failure is why I've kept my emergency brake. Wilwood does make a caliper with a mechanical emergency brake function, though.
