I have a 1998 NB and I am jazzing it up a bit, engine and handling wise. Yesterday I picked up a used sports brake set and the seller also offered me this:



He told me it was to reinforce the chassis, but he wasn’t sure what MX5 it was from and if it would fit together with the U shaped chassis beam reinforcements I have (bought, not fitted yet):



Any advice is welcome,

Stock NB2. The top (sheetmetal one) fits under the gearbox, the tubular one fits between the rear subframe and the chassis floor. They can both fit with the aftermarket frame rails you showed. Install them all.
