Melting is a solvable problem. Putting an MMR on the passenger side and a Comp on the driver's side totally negates any benefit of having the MMR mount in the first place.

You wouldn't happen to know of a place to pick up heatshielding for this, would you? Going to be doing it soon, myself.

Well, I finally have some experience.

And my suggestion is, don't do it unless you have a car that won't rattle.

I'm going to be moving to two comp mounts next time I have my subframe out.

The shifting is divine though.

After putting more miles on it, I have to say, I love one MMR mount and one comp mount. Feels awesome. You'll find out what's loose on your car quickly, but the feeling is amazing.
