We made our own high-quality oil feed adapter for use with our turbo kits, but figured that it's something that virtually everyone can use. It does the same job as a standard brass male run tee, but it's machined from steel for strength and zinc-plated for corrosion resistance and longevity. It's specifically designed to maximize cross-sectional area, so it will never break. Don't use a brass tee! Engine vibration will break a brass tee and cause a major oil leak.
If you're turbocharging a 1995-2005 Miata, you need this part.
$25 includes free USPS shipping. Add $2 for a steel 1/8"NPT to -4AN adapter.

Most oil temp sender's are too long to be used with something like that. I had one made that uses a 1/4npt and a brass adapter to space it out.

Thank you for the suggestion. Could I bother you for a pic? I really don't want to use the oil drain bolt method and neither am I able to find a sandwich adapter with both oil cooler and ports so am trying to figure another way of running a temp gauge.

Take this to my build thread, there are pics on the last few pages. I'd rather not muddy up Andrews product announcement thread.
Does anyone know of any remaining stock of these? The only steel options I can find after copious searching the Internet have a tapered male thread (should be parallel).
Of course, there are plenty with the correct thread in brass...

Did you find any? I’m wondering the same thing

I ended up buying a similar item from PRL Motorsports. Note that it IS a tapered thread.
VVT miata blocks are tapped with a parallel (BSPP) thread to facilitate a banjo bolt + crush washers for the VVT feed, but the oil pressure sender in the VVT hard line is tapered. Anywhere you find a na/nb miata oil pressure sensor, it's 1/8 BSPT.
Using a VVT block without the VVT hardline might be tricky, I doubt anything other than a copper crush washer would seal since it's not tapered.

Thanks for clarifying my post. My engine is VVT, and the sensor port in the VVT hardline is definitely tapered thread.
I guess you are probably right, BSPT male will seal in a BSPP female according to this PDF. I've never personally measured any.
I've also put NPT males into miata 1/8" BSP females, the threads are only off one thread over an inch. It'll seal!
If you had ever tried you'd know that's not true. Apparently only a thread or two is good anyway, if the blocks aren't tapered.
I'm sure most everyone knows M10x1.5 and 3/8-16 bolts and nuts just so happen to work together besides being technically incompatible, 1/8 NPT and 1/8 BSPT are more similar in thread pitch than that combination, and only off half as much.
