What do they mean by highest/fastest xyz of any production car ever?

That precludes comparison of some of the Porche's, Bugatti, Teslas with Ludicrous plus?

It runs the quarter mile faster than any other production car ever. Thats all they claim.

The site states:
Highest HP of any production car
Highest G-Force by a production car
First wheelie by a production car
Worlds fastest 0-60 production car
Fastest 1/4 mile production car

I can't click open anything else (work blocked), but some pretty wide claims otherwise. Sounds terrifying

I'm guessing they don't count hypercars as production cars.

Well its quicker in the quarter mile than a veyron. And the latest Tesla.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...y_acceleration

And if you sort that list by the manufacturer claimed times then its the fastest to 60.

I'm pretty sure they did some fact checking before making those claims lol

exclude everything with less than xxx production volume, etc.

I'm also kinda proud of them for picking a theme (drag racing) and sticking to it, rather than try to hit every market and muddying the car up to the point that it doesn't know what it is.

I think the race gas tune is over 1000 hp or at least I think I heard that.

Lol, I see a few didn't like my Mustang meme. I saw it on a facebook group I belong to and thought it was funny.

It always disappointed me that Dodge hasn't made bigger waves in the amateur drag racing scene. Ford is absolutely dominating it lately. Its pretty hard to beat the mustang design and cost to build a very competitive car.

I would love to see more Dodges winning races, but am not so sure this car is what it will take. What they need is a cheap, lighter chassis, and a powertrain that is inexpensive and plentiful to modify that works well against other variants available.

Nothing better than going to a good race with lots of car diversity and not knowing which manufacturer will be taking home the prize.

Nope, the HP/TQ claims are all done on 100 octane. You use a special key and unlock that tune, otherwise you get lower numbers.

Well, I would assume the car would make at least some additional power on c16 or e85, but I'm not sure about tuning solutions yet.

The wheelie claim is pretty awesome though because it basically screams that their traction control sucks or is totally off haha.

Wait, I don't understand this one. Doing a wheelie means it has amazing traction? Or no?

'Xactly. Amazingly good traction. Good enough to lift the front of a 4000#+ car and put all the weight on the rear tires!
