Autocrosser I bet.

Ya that car was in a grass roots motorsports mag not that long ago, he is running 275 Hoosiers on that thing.

engled 01-19-2011 02:27 PM

That is my car, the car your referring to belongs Bill Schenker.

ZX-Tex 01-19-2011 03:26 PM

Looks like a sport bike rotor, for the same reason.

chpmnsws6 01-19-2011 03:33 PM

Not much worry about heat dissipation I assume...

ZX-Tex 01-19-2011 03:46 PM

Right, I am guessing due to being an auto-X car there is not as much time on course that would overheat the brakes. In fact, Grassroots just published a test article on how for auto-x, the pad compound choice for example is really not that important. High temp pads do not do much better, if at all, than low temp pads.

Anyway, thread jack over, on my part anyway.

We've had to ship back a bunch of inner hats because they weren't made to the spec we gave them. Some we had to refuse more than once, 2) We got a set that were clearly damaged during manufacture (large gashes in rim, no damage on boxes) but they just shipped them out anyway. They did eventually make good on all of the above, for what it's worth.

For what they charge for them, they should be better.

Twincharged Exige with Hoosiers on Kodiaks. Hoosier gets off the wheel 'cause turns out the Kodiak wheels diameter were out of spec:

His driving could be improved but what didn't you like about holding the steering wheel? The fact that he shuffles?! I din't see hand over hand problems.
