15x9

Does anyone know if 15x9 rims with 0 offset will fit the rear of my 93 miata? I'm looking at xxr 002's to buy but don't know if they will fit. If so what size tire will I have to buy or will I have to custom fit them? Will I be able to lower my car an inch or two? Thanks!

They will be like the 15*10's with proper offset... Which need flares.

Seriously? Year and half and you haven't learned ----.

You want 225 tires on a 9" rim, but you'll probably stretch the 205s since you don't want race tires and you'll need the stretch to fit them under your ghetto pulled fenders since you're choosing a retarded offset.

Good luck.

Yes they will fit, with a flat roll and light pull. However you will need a ton of camber and it won't be ideal. I've seen photos of this offset with tire on cr.net. Not my style.

Good morning. My point stands.

Falcon speaks for the entire forum, take this question to CR.net, they are the ones that will help you.

And they will bow down to your herrafrushnezz

Eunos93 04-09-2012 07:51 AM

Ok I get that but how about 15x8 will I have any problems with those?

nitrodann 04-09-2012 07:59 AM

Go to CR.net.

This forum does not care about your want to look the illest or flushest on the street. We here are for performance-dollar ratios.

I don't care about stance either I just want the widest rim/tire combo on the rear for traction purposes!

jtpaintballwdp 04-09-2012 10:11 AM

0 offset if far from optimal.

This post brings hope to you yet.

Flared- 15x10 6UL
Under rolled fenders- 15x9 6UL
under stock fenders- 15x8 6UL

Or the Tire Rack 15x9 that they copied from the 6UL.

Like a crumbled piece of paper in the copier...

www.clubroadster.net

If you really cared about rear traction you wouldn't be asking about 205 tires and -0 offset wheels.

chpmnsws6 04-09-2012 11:20 AM

Where does he ask anything about 205's? Just because Curly jumped on him doesn't mean you need to ride his sack into battle. Give the kid a chance. We've all looked at (or look at) 0et wheels. I'll probably end up on 15x8/15x9 staggered wheels for street duty since I'm flared in back and no one is willing to make a nice 245+ street tire (though the 235 R888 is looking tempting)

Eunos- Buddy, you need to do a lot more searching before posting in here. Although this site has a ton of great info, its also testosterone filled and ready to...... blow....

falcon 04-09-2012 11:23 AM

Being flared is a completely different ball game. I don't ride anyones "sack" into battle, I just agree at how retarded it would look with stock fenders.

Savington 04-09-2012 12:29 PM

15x9 6UL = pre-op

15x10 6UL = post-op

Both are a good time, but the bigger one is more fun. :ughug:

Eunos93 04-09-2012 12:41 PM

I was really liking the staggered xxr 002's on eBay 15x8/15x9 but they only offer them 0 offset so I wanted to know if they will fit or will I have to a little to make them fit or alot. And if so what size tire wouldn't I have to use. I really don't want to stretch a tire or camber the crap out of it if I don't have to !
