200TW Tire Life

200TW Tire Life
Does anybody have have any data on how many hours of track time they have gotten out of a 200TW tire? I am aware that RS4 generally last the longest (usually at a performance deficit) but I am looking for real numbers on any 200TW tire. In my case I am going to be running a stock drivetrain 1.6 on something in the realm of 205/50R15. I currently have sticker sets of RE-71R, AO52, 595 RS-RR, and RT660 and I am trying to decide what I am going to allocate to what. Thanks!

I'm interested in data on this too....
Edit: I think the A052s are better track tires than the RE-71s...I think I got that backwards. Regardless, I personally think those two are too soft for economic track use.

595 fastest wearing of that bunch.

My setup is a stock power NA8 with 205/50, 15x8, Xidas 1050/600 and a big aero package. I've run all of these compounds in 205; It isn't driven on the street so the alignment and tire pressure have all been set using a pyrometer.
In terms of longest lasting with my car:
RS-4
RSRR
RE71R
RT660
RS-pro (I know you didn't ask for it, but figured I'd toss it in)
A052
The RSRR and RE71R are higher on the list because they get significantly harder towards the end of their life; wear rate plummets pulling drivability and grip with it. RSRR and RE71R were tossed with tread left but RT660, RSPro, A052 I felt comfortable driving down to the cord (lap times dropped with wear, but they were still drivable). Ignoring tread life and looking at usable life, I think the order still holds true but the margin from RSRR-RT660 is pretty small for usable life.
Generally speaking, the list is inversed when talking about which is the fastest. My favorite for my time attack car is the RT660 and we love RS-4's for our endurance car. We run a 225/45 RS4 on a stock 1.8 and will get 24hrs out of a set as Emilio mentioned.

This story just appeared on Grassroots Motorsports (GRM) web pages, after being published in their paper version a month or two ago.

There is a grading table at the very end of the article.
My own experience with a first gen RX7 endurance racing is in reasonable agreement with the grades they assigned.
We have run Maxxis and Falken Azenis to good effect for up to 24 hours of endurance racing. Though the last 6 hours or so the tires are "greasy", and we have to have paid attention to swapping them around the car to spread the wear, and to flip them inside to outside between races.
We just ran Toyo R1R's and they were great for 8 hours, but one corded after about 2 hours when we tried to run another 8, and the others were bald by the end of that second 8. So they are really about 8 hours, and deserve the C they were awarded for longevity. They stuck really nicely for the first 8 though.
There will be many opinions and experiences, since it depends so much on car and driver. But the GRM story is a good place to start.
