Default 6ULs at Flyin' Miata

FYI - we haven't really made much noise about being a dealer for 6ULs, but we are. We've got a shipment of the new Gen 4 15x8s coming in about a month, and all colors are still available including tungsten.

Then it's probably not healthy to hang out in the wheels and tires forum!

That's nice! With Robert Pièces d'Auto Anglaises being able to import Flyin' Miata parts to Québec, that should be a nice way to get 6ULs!

FM is getting literally a truck load of 15x8's. Whe we and the other dealers are sold out, they'll likely be the last to have stock.

Keith, you guys offering tire/wheel packages?

Haven't exactly got that nailed down yet. If we do, it'll be a small range of tires as we don't have access to a nearby warehouse full of rubber.

So, opinion poll. If you wanted a 15x8 6UL/tire package, what tire would it be?

Nice to see there's still a place to grab some tungsten 6ULs!

For wheel and tire packages, I vote for 225 BFG Rivals.

Question - Will FM carry the 949 tire valves? They are light, aluminum, and match the 6UL design philosophy. Plus, everyone knows the gunmetal valves belong on the Tungsten wheels.

Please don't put rubber valves in those wheels...everyone who wants 6ULs will also want the aluminum valves. Yes, I am speaking for everyone.

Seconded. The rubber valves will fail with hard track use. I've had at least three go bad on me, one in the middle of a track day.

Thirded

As far as tires go, it's going to be a long list of options once everyone chimes in. My option would be the RS-3 in 225/45, but I already have a set of 6UL and don't need another, so I'm not the target market.

If we offer wheel/tire packages, I'll take the request for metal stems into account.

I haven't heard many great things from local drivers about the Rivals. I'd prefer turn-key packages with 225/45-15 RS3 (v2) personally.

Just added the pic of final production sample on Nickel.

It's bootyful.

For tires, I'd be voting for 205 rivals or RS3's. 1:1 FTW!

I can't wait to start seeing these new colors on cars. I am trying to decide on a finish and torn between two...

Me too. The new Bronze and Tungsten particularly. I think the new bronze on a classic red or red mica car will be amazing.
