...God damn, lots of **** in this thread.

Glad to see these are moving along. I am ready to order a set. Thanks to Emilio & 949 for the development/updates!

Being as those users are clearly skeptical of emilio's business savvy.

I apologize for not being clear. Yes I am an *******.

Don't call me out. I don't care why they aren't available, but simply put if you are making the same product others are now because you didn't have inventory, you need to differentiate. I just sold one of my sets of 10s. In fact I like that they aren't available because my used wheels are worth as much or more than I paid new. And now have bogarts being made in 11s. I realize it is a small market for 11s but if there is a cheaper alternative I know people will buy them. Even at the expense of 2-3lb per wheel.

Hey Emilio, I just wanted to drop by and let you know that you're doing an awful job. Please keep in mind, I have no earthly idea how manufacturing works nor any concept of the difficulties and complexities that exist when bringing a brand new product to market. You see, it's much easier for me to drink haterade, type furiously into my computer, and make the most obvious comments in the world, such as "hey, I bet you can make more money if you sell more wheels".

Anyways, I gotta go now. Some new member asked what diameter tubing he should use for his exhaust so I need to tell him to "use search function noob", make gay jokes, and ask when the TSE turbo kit is coming out because the only thing that gets me off these days is beating the ground where the dead horse used to be before I beat it into oblivion.

Signed,
A Miata Turbo User

Hey, you might not have noticed, but "6UL" kind of sounds like "sexual", no?

That fact makes the wheel even cooler.

Pics of Beta production 15x8 wheel. As of today, my best guess puts wheel here mid September. Yes, that's 11.2 lbs.

Emilio, has the pre-ordering for these already happened? Please tell me it's not too late to get on the list for these (15x8).

Nice background pictures

Will paint, specifically bronze or tungsten (yay, new color!), add any noticeable weight?

Sorry, my bad. I was in a rush.

(I could say they were pretty enough to look at all over again though)

Methods for staying updated on 949 Racing wheels, in descending order of effectiveness

1. Email us and ask to be put on the mailing list
2. Like our facebook page
3. Carrier pigeon
4. Checking forum threads
5. Calling every few hours and asking "how about now?". This is the most popular

3) My bird is overtaxed keeping my interweb connection going as it is.
4) BINGO

I think you may be confusing ascending with descending.
