We've had the same discussion with Hoosier. We tried to talk to them about running a 6" wide tire on an 8" wide wheel, and they couldn't tell us anything other than they recommend a 6-7" wheel. We stayed conservative and designed around a 7" wheel, but will be testing the 8" over summer. If the 15x11 fits, run it. Gain that cornering stiffness.

A 15x11 will always be a small volume wheel compared to about a zillion other sizes.

But what if I have "Cash in hand?"

Which I will by July when you are ready to start taking money for 15x9s. Anyhow, I am curious about this new color "Tungsten." Is the image an accurate depiction of how it will look? To me it looks like a slightly different texture to "silver" but similar color. Can you give more information about that color/finish?

Also, do 6ULs require centering rings? If so, any reason you don't sell them on your site? Last - any word on when the black lugnuts should be back in stock? I'd like to start ordering the incidentals like lugnuts and valve stems as soon as possible to spread out the financial load.

Lugs in 4 weeks. No rings required, if you don't want centering rings.

In for 12 lb 11" wide wheels

The issue for the 11's is now that a few folks have tested....and proven that they are faster...The folks that need...not want but need...The 11" wheel might have already bitten the bullet on Bogarts Keisers or some other option if you wait on producing them. The Window to "make hay" with the 11 is smaller than you might think.

How many pre-orders with deposits(&show much of a deposit) would it take to move the production of the 11" wheels up to being available this year?

Spinwerkes, is 1 back from the dead, and 2 is considering doing a 15x11 as well.

About 600 customers. That's about what I would pass up in sales in other sizes. I appreciate all the posts in this thread asking me to re-prioritize development for the 15x11. Nothing you guys are writing is new to me however. No amount of forum posts here will change our schedule.

So it is abundantly clear, 15x11 are lower volume wheels so they will be low priority. As in an order of magnitude lower volume.

I think the naysayers should by now be getting the point that this is either a supplier issue or emilio simply does not have the capital to produce wheels for a few needy assholes.

In other words, if you want 15x11's this year start a LLC and get enough money together to purchase all the 600 required sets. Then you'll see what the market demand is.

Don't go throwing salt in the wounds unless you know why there are inventory issues. Hopefully with the new wheel manufacturer supply issues will be a thing of the past.
