More like double RPF1's weight, unless that website is wrong.

Claimed weight of the TWS 17x9 forged wheel is 15.4 to 17.6 lbs. One assumes no precise weight because they have never made that fitment.
Based on the few precise weights CSG published, the 17x9 could be around 7.2 kg or so (15.9 lbs). About right for a fully die forged wheel.

Our 17x9 FRS fitment is 16.9 lbs.. and 1/4 the price :)

rpf 17x9 is 16lb if I remember correct

Ahhh, my bad. My mind was stuck on 15x7 RPF1 weight for some reason.

Really cool stuff.

So when are 15x12's coming out? :D

16X11 and 16X12 is the needed size to run 23.5X11 or 23.5X12 Avon or Hoosier rubber.

Sorry. Virtually zero chance of us ever supplying those sizes.

LOL yea right. I seem to remember you saying the same thing about 15X11. That will work till you get the urge to build a car to use those sizes. FWIW in prepared class a Toyota corolla with a NA 1.6l motor running those size tires and wheels now destroys any DP Miata built and developed within the last decade even with a 200 lb weight disadvantage to the Miata.

You are such a contrarian Bob. Cracks me up. Everyone else is always wrong. I predict no 16x11 6UL, ever. A 15x12 is a possibility however ;)

What tire would fit a 15X12? The only thing I can think of are drag race tires with really tall and soft side walls and giant diameter off road mudder or rock crawler tires. Are you talking to tire manufacturers again? Maybe some 1970's old lambo size tires. 345/35/15 but I think you would want to go up to 13-14" wide wheels for those.

I am always talking to tire companies.

You always seem to eventually bring products to market that I think you should and that I want as well. If you sacrifice some weight at the center to open up potential for different stud mounting patterns the customer base grows substantially and the only competitors in that market are very high priced custom wheels.
