Default Anyone tried Rota K7?

Was browsing 18racing.com and found this nice looking set of wheels. 15x9 et36 sounds very familiar. Nice lip too.

I've been eyeballing those too but I think they're just too heavy for me. They look great though for sure. Part of me wants to get them instead of 6ULs just so I dont look like every other miata with 6ULs but weight ultimately is more important to me.

I am sure they are not light like 6ul. But they cost less.

Yeah every website and listing I've looked up lists 14.6-14.75 for 15x9. Pleasantly surprised.

+1

Nice wheels, although "seems" a little outdated and overly used, IMO.

Want. But I'd feel a bit strange selling SSRs and Brembo brakes to get Rota wheels. ******* sexy wheel though...beats the **** out of anything Sportfagg.

Are there any tire options for 9 inch wheels for those of us who are honest with ourselves and aren't racing gods, and would like more than 10K miles and a whole bunch of nails in our tires?

I'd like to try the dunlop star specs but I'm afraid 205/50/15 would look GAY on a 9" Other wise it's rs3's or some such that are really a waste of time and money on a car that goes to the grocery store every day and MAYBE a SMALL hand full of driving events a year.

Id stick with 15x8 with 205s then. No reason you cant run 225s on a 15x8 either.

BUt yeah, 225 tire selection is limited, you have the RS3s, R1Rs, and race rubber

Main reason I like these is the actual aesthetics and the weight

yeah... I just have an issue buying 8's when I COULD be buying 9's... all the drifters run 205/45 and it's hella gay, wondering if the taller sidewall will shallow out the stretch.

******* sick as hell.

Actually, no. They're not. Would be sick as hell if they were a 16 or 17" though.

I got excited for a minute.

My black 15x9 6ULs will stomp K7 face.

well i bought one just to see if it fit over my front brakes.

i put it on my home scale and it hit 13.0 lbs on the money.

someone already posted a picture of my car but i can post a few more. i am going to run a 205/50/15 i know stretch is gay but im hoping to find a wide 205 and get minimal stretch.

those are the 9's? I'll be watching closely. I wanted to try the dunlop star specs as they are sticky as hell and supposedly last a touch longer than the other super sticky summer rubber. I have no idea if they are "skinny" or "wide" for a 205 though.

Doing some net surfing I've seen some 205's that looked pretty normal, and some that were... eww...
