205/45 tires for 205 hp.

I run 205/45 tires too, but not with 205hp.

It really depends on the rubber.

my all-seasons are 205/50-16s and hold full throttle in first, even when its below 40* outside. All in the rubber.....and the soft sidewalls help.

General AS-03 here. All the amazing silica compounding of the Continental DWS with a slightly softer rubber = win.

Damn, I can't wait til summer to put some real tires on.

I have the DWS on my Outback as the winter tire and the wife's cooper. Excellent tire.

And I was serious about the 205/45 BFG Gforce. Even this morning's 38degrees, they hook pretty good still.

peak power and climbing at 7k on a 2560r? How much boost are you able to hold at redline?

Honestly those wheels look rad, and some decent power behind it too. Nice car!

im running a gt2560r im able to hold 10 psi over the whole powerband. i also did the first two runs starting at 1500 rpms and came up with the same numbers. the last run was done at 3500 due to a lean spike at 2800 rpms which only happed on the dyno.
