Default How to know if wheels are 10AE indeed ?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy 10AE wheels and I have found a set of 4. Is there some specific mark or number or some other way to use for identification? The shop seems pretty willing to share info written on the wheels

Thanks

If they are nb wheels and are shiney and look almost chrome like, they are 10ae wheels.

What he said, though that also includes 00 SE wheels.

15x6.5 5 spoke boat anchors with a polished finish.

The 15x6 10AE wheel is actually pretty light at 12.8lbs by my notes. They are know to crack in autocross though. I suppose track use would be worse but I don't recall seeing any on track cars. We have seen probably 5-6 cracked ones at autocrosses over the years and heard of others.
We have bought a few used cars with them and at least one was cracked when we bought it. They're popular for autox because its the max competitive wheel size for E Street, formerly E Stock.

10AE wheel is indeed a polished version of the regular 15x6 NB1 wheel, of which we seen and heard reports of. Pic is swiped off the googles so whatever.

Point is that design is fairly light for an OEM Miata wheel. Not all OEM Miata wheels are light. And that we have seen several failed ones

Thanks! Agreed for the Google search; honestly for some reason I thought these are forum abbreviations and not something commonly written/spoken..

2000 SE is purple with a parchment tan/wood interior. 6spd/3.90 torsen and comes with same wheels as 10AE.

Basically it's the best of the NA/NB Miatas, irrefutable fact.
