Default Noob Bottlecap Question

My buddy is offering me some BMW bottle caps for pretty cheap with good tires on them too. I was just wondering if they require spacers or do they just fit right up cuz from my research I find both answers.

BTW, will have pictures up soon of my whip. Haven't had the chance to take em yet xP

I R confuzzed

I was considering that he was referring to hubcaps but that didn't sound right.

I think a whip is what people who never experienced slavery call a car.

exhibit A

exhibit B(mw)

exhibit (bottle) C(aps)

not shown: the 12mm dual-hubcentric spacers I designed to directly adapt the wheels to the e30.

so the offset on the bmw wheels is less than miata wheels. and the hub bore is bigger on the bmw. but the bolt pattern is the same.

in short, they will fit. but they are not wide and will stick out funny. which I think is exactly the look you might want on your whip.

This thread is fail...but the wheels aren't. I'd totally rock that.

At least now I know what to use for search terms on CL since not a single mother ****** in Houston can post an ad with "4x100" in it.

Well I guess I can't use street slang on this forum or I will get completely roasted by you guys lol whip = bad car = good

BMW Bottlecaps are wheels. I thought you'd at least know that term but I guess not. They have the same bolt up pattern as the Miata but I didn't know the specs. Thanks y8s for not being a jackass.

And no I have never been enslaved, so whip is alright with me. Nice MX6 though, you got underglow and neons on that rice? lol

Wow...that's a stinkin' deal for some good looking wheels.

Any idea on weight?

I don't know the exact weight but I'm almost positive they are heavier than the stock Miata wheels :[

But, they look awesome if you paint them. (A good paint job that is) I was thinking about colors for my Miata. I almost wanna go flat black and maybe even black rims too. But if that isn't done right it could turn out horribly wrong :P

Honestly, there are too damn many slang names for things for everyone to be hip to all of them. If, for instance, I went onto a BMW forum and posted up a message asking if a set of cheese graters from a Miata would fit on my E81, I wouldn't actually expect anybody to have the slightest idea what I was talking about. (And I'd expect at least a few gay comments.)

Thanks y8s for not being a jackass.
He was being a jackass, you just didn't pick up on it.

To be honest, this whole thread reminds me of something that happened when I was in high school. I was 17 or 18, I think, and my sister was 11.

She'd just gotten out of the shower and gone into her room with a tower wrapper around her to get dressed. A few seconds later she started screaming hysterically. I'd been in my bedroom in the middle of my third rep of chest curls. I immediately dropped my 75lb weights and ran out into her room without even stopping to put a shirt on.

I get there, and she's screaming and pointing up at the celling at this stupid little spider. Our ceiling is kind of high so I had to jump to get it. So I grabbed a magazine and started jumping up to swat it. I hit it, but it fell and landed right on my sisters head. So she immideatly drops her towel and starts swatting at her head screaming "GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF!"

I notice the spider crawling down her back and it is still alive, so I drop the magazine and grab her shoulder with one hand to get control of her (because she is flailing around like a maniac at this point) and then I'm swatting at it with my only other free hand. Just then, our parents burst in and see her naked and me in just my ******* shorts spanking her rearend while she is crying her ******* guts out.

I tried to explain to them what was going on, but it was just too chaotic. My sister was still crying her guts out, and my dad just exploded and told me to "get in your ******* room immediatly you sick ******* bastard." It didn't help, I'm sure, that a couple months prior they'd found a pair of her undies on my floor. I dont know how they got there but probably were stuck in my pants after mom did laundry or something.

At any rate, that's about how I feel reading this thread.

I really appreciate you picking up Hustlers slack Joe. Someone HAS to do it. If anything your "stories" are a little more customized than his copy-pasta

How can you possibly think that you can ask a question on any forum and not have people play with you a little bit? Thinking we wouldn't is really pretty silly. Are you familiar with vaginal prolapse?
