Weight? It's all about weight.

17s are really too big for an NA. 15s are going to work best in most situations, maybe some 16s if you are pushing an insane amount of power with a high boost turbo or V8 swap. Not bad looking wheels though!

Yeah, not so much on an NA, but those would look fantastic on a 3.0CSL. They look like Dinan knockoffs.

I'm not a fan. Looks too much like the guys riding around with an old crown vic and 26" wheels.

Yeah I was thinking the same djp.
The thing is the clear and fit nicely and don't have any area they would rub at. I think some wheel fenders\arches would make it look better.
I like the 17 in the back but then 17 in the front looks abit odd.

there are these, friend has them on his e30 like this setup except his is a 325i

Consensus is that it is ghetto and form over function.

Ever sized an F1 wheel? They don't run big diameters.

I agree, they are not for the NA. Plus I think 15" is perfect for the miata.

17" wheels + NA = Lift kit, doesn't look right.
Maybe if the car was lowered with whee/fender arches/flares like Techsalvager suggested, they might work. But I'd just get different wheels.

Look a bit like the last thing a bird sees before it goes through a jet engine.

Style isn't bad, but they do seem big.

I really like that wheel design but not on an NA I had 17's on my NA for a while but they make the car look weird. Stick to a set of 16's or 15's it looks a whole lot better.

Well doppelganger ( have you seen the movie?) I do like your flared miata setup. Maybe one day I will be up in atlanta at some meet that I can see it.

Like a donk. I think 16s are the absolute limit on an NA.

Mr. Nickt93, I saw your fine porsche green miata in the current issue of GRM as internet.hot.rod.of.the.month! Is there a link somewhere online or is it only in print?
