Default V2 Competition 13x8

Anybody run the V2 Competition 13x8 wheels on the track? If so what did you think, how did they work? What tires did you run?

TIA

Betting the biggest issue is the turbo guys won't have enough brakes under such a small wheel.

Brakes are the biggest issue, especially on this board. Splitime hit on the head.

Also, the tire options for that wheel are probably pretty slim and useless for big power cars.

So F1 cars can use 13" wheels but not a turbo miata? just asking?

F1 cars are built for one thing and one thing only. Your Miata isn't. It's also 1000x the cost. Just saying

Modern F1 cars use 15" wheels.

I wouldn't mind a 13x8 at all. They will allow you to accelerate and stop a little bit quicker than a 15 inch rim of the same weight. And there are several competition tires available to fit for reasonable prices as well. But those are a bit pricey at $330 each.

Actually if you check here, they're only sold in pair's, thus $330 a pair. Cheap to say the least.

F1 cars are a lot like a Miata.

Oh, no, wait, no they aren't.

I didn't see that. I thought that was each when I glanced at it.
Now I am interested in their low weight and reduced rotational mass...
and low price...

13's are great on the miata for autocross. spin up real quick and slow down real quick too. cheapest sticky tires you can buy.

Hey Grant, I'm on my way to 10!
