Default what is the best/preferred tires size

hi guys i recently traded my turbo integra gsr for a boosted miata... however this miata is stanced to the ground and wheels rubbing the **** out of fenders. the main reason i got the miata was the experience the supreme handling that i only heard about.
So for this thread i was wondering what would be the preferred size of tires for daily driving and sometimes spirited dirivng
(currently i am on 195 50 r15's)
thanks

I love my nitto neo-gen 205's. They were on sale on ebay for $280 shipped for four a while back, still pretty cheap now. No complaints in any weather from me, plenty for my stock miata. Supposed to be good with treadwear and negative camber, but I'm only at 1/1.5. Mine are on 8" wheels, because I really want 225s.

Mine were 360 shipped, and came with a $50 visa card. 225's are much more moneys...

I bought my car in march of 07 with 16x7 motegi's and 205/45/16's. those wheels are gone now, and I am running 15x8 konig flatouts in bronze, with yokohama 205/50/15's. I love it.
This thread just reminded me to update my avatar pic, cause it's like 3 years old.

155 stretched on a 9" for the hella flush stance fitment yo.

You should search before posting but cliff note general forum consensus seems to be 205 on a 8" and 225 on a 9". Not a rule, just what I've noticed.

I run 225 45 r15 RS3s on a 15x9" 6UL. I like it, but I don't have much else to compare it to.
