I recently found a brand new one on ebay that was in some stock room for years. I do have spare timing cover components for one on my 1.6




FWIW I compared my 1.8 timing cover backing place to the 1.6 plate and they bolted up and were the same size. The same thing for the timing cover plastic itself. I have been debating seeing if someone would make a mold of these covers to remake them in either carbon fiber or fiberglass so they would be less likely to swell/crack.
