iirc intake and exhaust cams are identical, just rotated 120 degrees counterclockwise on the exhaust side.

Not for 1999 and 2000. The intake cam interfaces with the front mounted cam sensor. That's one reason you never see adjustable intake cam sprockets for the '99-'00 cars.

Note the two nubs on one side, and one on the opposite side of each sprocket.

not necessarily, just tellin' ya u can use either.
buy me an adjustable for my exhaust cam ad you can have my oem one
why not just buy any 1.8 cam sprocket and put your exhaust camgear on the intake side, and the one without nubs onto your exhaust side. you do still have the exhaust side?

if you decide to swap you exhaust one over and want an OEM '97 gear for the exhaust side I've got about 6 of them lying around. I'd let you have one for $20 shipped.

Ordering my MS in a couple min, soon as i get that bitch running i might buy some adj cam gears too, if i do, u can have the old ones.
