I need some A/C parts.
I had my A/C recharged in my '90 about a year ago, all was good until the heat got brutal 2 months ago, I didn't want to bother the acquaintance who charged it for me last year. So I took it to a shop near me today.
The guy there told me I have a restriction in the system and I need an expansion valve, a condenser, and a receiver dryer. His quote was insane. 787.00$ I doubt I need a condenser maybe he's confusing that with the evaporator. Anyway Im looking for a used evap with expansion valve.
Update-new reciever/dryer,orings and used evap (thanks Phil) installed. Recharged, 40* total cost 96$.
