Megasquirt needed
Cause he is clearly a dumb *** and says whoever put it together didn't do it right and frankly it just blows cause while I wish I could do it my self I just barely starting to grasp the concept I mouch not of the the mechanical type like building. Engines fabricating and stuff like that. But I digress any ways so I'm looking for a new one and 18 psi just wanted to say thanks you helped me quite a few times through this build and maybe you can answer one more question for me does the assembled diyautotune pnp come with a base file and will it plug into the ms1 harness I already have
mspnp2 plugs into your OE harness just like your stock ecu did
yes it comes with all the software. most times it will work outa the box, sometimes it will require some basic tuning to get running.

Did you talk to the guy you bought the megasquirt from? See if it's been in another car before. Does the car run at all on the MS1? With the limited information you've provided I feel like there's a 90% chance your tuner doesn't know what he's doing rather than an actual hardware issue.
oh I'm almost sure that that's the case or that he doesn't wanna take the time to figure it out but considering I can't do it and he is the only one in my area (Utah, slc) that was willing to tune megasquirt in not left with a ton of options
Honestly it's not such a big loss, because ms1 is so ancient at this point that it's worthwhile to upgrade anyway.
That said, I almost never mess with non-pnp units.
Hit up Scott/Braineak for an ms3x

Ya that's kinda what I was thinking about it being an upgrade. Also thanks for the advice how hard is it to tune a pnp unit yourself or at least get it running and driving
