NB fuel rail damper

i'm looking for a cheepee to see if this is whats causing my pressure to be erratic

Got a pic? I'll have my '01 motor pulled and am parting it out. Is it in plane site or under the manifold?

Frank, on your 01 it's bolted to the middle of the fuel rail, which is under the upper intake manifold.

Though if the OP has a fuel pressure problem, I'd replace the in-tank fuel pressure regulator (on the fuel pump assembly) before the fuel rail dampener. .00000000002
