The lower plastic timing covers are the same 90-05 FYI. They do get soaked in oil and warp, rubbing on accessory and timing belts, I'd recommend spending the ~$30/cover to buy two new ones from Mazda.

Also the 99-00 fuel rails seem to be getting a little more rare, if you don't find one in time, the Radium fuel rail will work for the swap.

 

Not the two lower prices, the one that meets the valve cover; becuase of the VVT, it has the bulge. Though, I'll just hash the 30usd if the dealer has that piece.

As for the rail. Ja, I know. The pissy part is there is a semi local (like... 3hr drive) parts guy who has a rail but the bugger must not want to do business. Have been in touch with him off and on for 2 weeks and he keeps saying he'll send the invoice but never does. Really infuriating!
I was trying to avoid unnecessary high ticket items for now since this swap is mainly acting as a repair (engine is literally down two cylinders, I suspect burnt vavles?) But if I must, I must, I suppose.

Do you know of any vendors that sell a complete bolt-on-n-go kit?
