you need it for your nb? i bought a alternator for a 97 from advanced auto parts.com. it plugged right into my 99 and has been working for months now. if there is a location near you, you can use coupons to purchase online then select pick up in store option.

retailmenot.com has a **** load of coupons you can save alot of money.

 

Which one did you get? The Denso is $200. $150 more than what parts group will sell for.

 

Brain should have my spare NA alternator. He said it didn't fix his issue.

 

I should have a pigtail lying around

 

1.6 NA alternator is different then the 1.8 NA alternator. The bottom mounting points are different. The 1.6 uses a bolt and nut, the 1.8 just uses a bolt.

 

I have 1.6 alty but I'm pretty lazy.

 

Call RicanRacer's next-door neighbor. He'll sell you one for cheap.

i payed less than 100 for it. just wanted piece of mind having a brand new alternator. that retailmenot.com site has codes that take off alot of money. one time even the guy at advanceautoparts said. "dam, it saved you that much money?"

 

I have a good NA 1.8 alt if you need it. Works just fine had it on my car when I was trying to get the EMS4 up and running. $100 Shipped.
