I would think running it to the mani would be a bad idea considering how much vacuum you'd have sucking on the can.
I emailed FM to see if their can would work, they said the only thing is the pin diameter. How big is the pin on the Greddy WG? |

I've been running off the manifold for over 10K miles with no problems.

It may depend on the quality of the actuator. The diaphragm is cupped like the surround on a subwoofer. Running off the mani causes the cup to invert when under vacuum then pop back under pressure. It cause stress and premature failure of the diaphragm. But to each there own.

If you guys need a wastegate can that can hold high boost,I suggest going to a auto wreckers and find a 1st gen mitsubishi eclipse and use the can off the stock turbo.I'm pretty sure the stock wastegate is set to a 10 or 12 psi minimum.

Well, I saw on the FM deal of the day that they are selling a T25/T28 actuator for $30. I called and asked if it would fit the Greddy and they said, "probably not without welding it." So if you can make it work, it looks like a pretty good deal. Today only.

If a 14b actuator will work, then the ones I have, see pics posted on page 1 should work too.. a 14b and a 16g are externally almost identical.
I have 4 of these units that I will let got for like $10 a piece or whatever... |

a local guy here (rappadan), got a hold of two old 300zx turbos. it bolted right into postion like the stock wastegate, but the rod needs to be lengthed about 1". ill let you know how the results are. but i believe he might have a spare. |
