Default WTB 1994 Airbag Module

Looking to purchase a 1994 airbag module, working or potentially throwing codes. Unless it's an extreme value I would like to see pictures of the board to make sure it appears salvageable.

Thanks!

I have 2001 driver and passenger airbags and module available, if you can swap and make it work. Running order when removed.
PM me if it works for you.

I, too, am searching for a 94 module, the thermal fuse went in mine and I have the 5-1 flashing on my dash. Winter fix for me, have just been driving it

but I feel your pain, they are so oddly specific to 94 and simply go bad after, you know, 30 years

Im slowing doing some trial and error trying to repair one. I have 4 of them sitting on my workbench at the moment. Hopefully i can at least get one functioning again. I'll let you know how it goes.

How do you know that it won't fail again as soon as you plug it in? The fusible link burns out when the system detects an error, rather than set off the airbags unexpectedly. Chances are, if the module is bad, the airbags or sensors are as well.

The common consensus is that the electrolytic capacitors leak and cause issues, either from the non-functioning state of the capacitors or the capacitor juice shorting out other things on the board.

I'm planning the clean the boards, replace the capacitors and then finally replace the fuse.

I don't have any reason to believe anything outside the module has failed.

If you make headway, I genuinely will take one off your hands if you're willing to part with it -- GOOD LUCK!
