Default WTB - Artech or equiv. custom bottom mount manifold and DP - 4 levels of awesomeness

Tax time coming up. Before I spend on a brand new manifold and DP and decide if I want to go EWG and then also the V-Band housing route on top of that I'd like to see if anyone has a used setup they want to part with.

I have a 2002 with no A/C or PS and I have a Disco Potato. I might opt for a 2871 if it was part of the package otherwise I can keep my Disco

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • Super Perfectly ideal setup #1 - tubular bottom mount, EWG and V-band setup and 3" DP with your 2871 or EFR Turbo
  • Perfectly ideal setup #2 - tubular bottom mount, EWG and V-band setup and 3" DP for my Disco Potato
  • Ideal setup #3 - tubular bottom mount, EWG, 3" DP for my Disco Potato
  • Ok setup #4 - tubular bottom mount, and 3" DP (use my internal WG) on my Disco Potato

Let me know what you have please. I'm thinking there is someone out there who is going V8 or is parting out a well setup car etc.

y u no buy dis: https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-par...o-setup-77671/ den sell me potatoe?

It's already in Canukastan so that has to count for something, eh? Selling me the RS will definitely make up a chunk of the cost.

I saw that here and on kijiji. That's a big turbo for a DD and I see the screamer dump as well. Not quite ready for both. Would you be using or selling the disco?

I'd absolutely rock a GT2860RS if I had one, no question about it.

I originally wanted but couldn't find a solid used RS when I was turbo shopping so I bought a second hand 2560. It ended up being toast so it got a new CHRA from Garrett but I still haven't mounted it on anything as of yet. Now it sits in a box, mocking me. I'd still buy an RS if the right one came up at the right price.

Megasquirt is on the way though. So I've got that goin' for me, which is nice.
