I am looking for some old bent rods out peoples dead motors. I want to make a lamp out of old rods. I am willing to pay shipping and maybe a few bucks more.

 

A NYC artist I know makes candleholders out of cranks.

 

Well I am not a NYC artist, nor am I making a gay *** candle holder. I am making a badass lamp. Will have a fucked up 6ul as the base and rods going up to where the lightbulb will be held.

 

You gonna weld this together?

you can have my set of 4 unbent rods and pistons for cost of shipping. you can have a crank and oil pump too if you wanna pay to ship those. I may have 2 sets of stock rods and pistons i have to check, but yeah you pay shipping and their yours.

JB weld is to advance for me, I am actually going to cut up little strips of duck tape and make them into small ***** with the sticky side out. Then put a million of those at all the connecting spots. This way it looks like messy welds. Not the pretty welds that Tim and Abe do.
