Default WTB broken 949 Endlink

I had to make a sacrifice to the autocross gods. I'm wondering if anyone has a broken set of 949 endlinks that they replaced. I just want to scavenge the hardware from it so I can get this endlink back on!

949 sells them in pairs, but I was hoping someone had one kicking around.

If you email 949 they can get you just the hardware.

C'mon Rish. It's a nut and bolt.

I was wondering what was up when I saw ANOTHER infraction so I came here.

If someone came in to the ER and they had a severed hand and an elbow, you would know what went between, right? Able to just visualize it, right?

I think I'm going to need a prescription if this keeps up.

I read the ad like 3 times. I kept eyeballing the picture thinking "SURELY I'M MISSING SOMETHING HERE". I guess not

To be fair, it IS more than just a nut and bolt. You need those cone washers. But it is pretty basic.

I've never asked this question in my thread, nope.

Jeezasss gaiz. I know 949 sells them, but they sell them in pairs, ie for 2 links. I just need ish for 1 side of one endlink... Figured someone might have a busted one too.

I might just swap in the stockers so I can keep driving. Im currently running one which is dumb lol.

8 conical washers are $4 from 949. You can buy the bolts there too (one bolt and one nut, you don't have to buy a set for two end links) or just get them at the hardware store.

Did you even click the link Aidan posted?

Yes. Their site was the first place I checked.

Though I see where I messed up lol.

I read this: "Parts required to make one pair of links, enough for one end end of car:"

And thought that the lowest unit they sell parts in is for a complete front or rear endlink pair.

Sometimes... I can haz the dumb. Infraction accepted for idiocy.

I'm going to bump this again because shipping is 16 bucks for 14 bucks worth of hardware that weighs next to nothing. So it would be 30 bucks for me to ship just one bolt, spacers, conical washers, and nut. Obscene.

So back to square one. Does anyone have a busted 949 endlink that they still have the hardware for?

Thanks in advance.

your welcome... in advance

That's cheap! Bite bullet it's a bargain at twice the price! Just kidding but seriously even at $30 just think man your putting the Miata back where it is supposed to be, hell buy extra for the next time you need to drop some hardware on the cone course.

Haha, in that case, I should just buy a set of 2 and use them for spares... The ones I have are honestly pretty beat. I should probably replace them at some point.... but they work for now.

It's just the automated shipping charges that are ridiculous. That would all fit in a USPS flat rate box for 5 bucks.

I've put a _used_ set of 949 endlinks on my NB just over 5 years ago. That's close to 100 autocross events since then, about 700 runs. On 275 Hoosiers. The hardware is still there.

What I'm saying is that you might not have install it right in the first place? In other words, check and see how things go together before the next install. Oh, and I just sold another set of used 949 links. And at some point will have my current set for sale... as soon as I find a suitable Speedway-style bar Maybe when Karcepts makes one next spring.

PS Which autocross club are you running with?

Yeah. I think I had the shorter bolt and didn't have enough purchase on the nut.

I'm a noob, so I expect to make dumb mistakes like this.

I went to an autocross school at Loudon. I'm trying to prep for the next event. It's just hard with school and being on call for weekends.

Omg cheap ***, just buy the parts you need, or run normal washers like the broke dick that you are.
