Talking WTB : EFR 6258 T25 Kraken Manifold/Downpipe/Exhaust

Finally getting my turbo build together thanks to a great deal I found on an EFR 6258.

Looking for a Kraken Manifold, Downpipe, and Exhaust for a T25 Inlet / 3" Vband outlet 6258 turbo. Willing to consider other options, but am really trying to go the Kraken route. Let me know what you have and how much you are looking to let it go for.

You can just buy all those things from kraken directly?
They've got a website and a couple venders nowadays. Even has low mount setups.

Oh of course, that's was plan if I couldn't find any used setups. New is great but there is always the lead time and cost. If someone was trying to sell one then I'd grab it off their hands

I'm super excited. Hoping to get everything installed by June. What is your motor setup?

Ah, right. I was on mobile so I missed it. Did you end up having to modify your water pipe?

Good stuff!.
Water pipe that goes to the heater core just needs to be bent back, easy to do.

Did you get the normal efr setup or the new low mount?

I was considering getting the water pipe from Hawley Performance. Is it pretty straightforward just to bend it?

I went with the new low mount. Seen some pictures of it and it looked sweet

Also curious about this. That Hawley pipe doesnt look like its just plug and play. Need the fittings and then you need to figure out what to do about the passage to the heater core, being the hawley is just a one-out design by the look of it..

Im curious if the OEM pipe can just be bent and/or cut to work with the low mount.

Also, all that said, hawley pipe, fittings, etc the low mount comes out being like $500 more than the old style. The lowmount looks way more rad but is there any other benefit? Shifts the weight a little lower but that negligible at best.

I'm not sure what needs to be done for the low mount.

On my standard mount, nothing needs to be done to the mixing manifold and the pipe that goes to the heater core is just bent rearward a little to clear the downpipe.

All things considered, Im leaning towards the standard one, although the low mount is defintiely something different/cooler.

I don't think the high mount is available anymore. Pretty sure he's moved fully to low mounts.

The old style seem to be available both directly and through a distributor. Hope that's not the case.

I can't imagine this would be the case. That would be a whole lot of money invested in tooling & process for his top mount design to just throw down the drain.

From what I have read around, it seems that the low mount helps some with heat transfer to the master cylinder and clutch reservoir, as well as some possible better flow, although probably negligible. The flow would be from the straighter downpipe vs the 110* bend on top mount. *shrug*

I recall him saying something about discontinuing them on FB. Just checked his site and it looks like he's running out the existing stock.
