I am in the process of building my NA 1.8 BP and bent the hell out of my oil pump pickup tube and oil pan baffle (this is what too much Permatex Ultra Copper will do if you attempt to pull the pan off and arn't careful...

I have a pickup tube. Idk what the baffle is.

 

The baffle is actually the windage tray that mounts between the engine block and the oil pan. It's thin stamped steel.
