What is your budget? I have a 99 head and can have it ported/polished with over sized valves and aftermarket springs plus flow benched......What is it worth to you?

I want $350 for my 99 head. I can get it ported and bigger valves and such for an additional $1300. So $1650 will get you a 99 head that has been ported and polished with larger Supertech valves and stiffer springs.

Not sure what others would charge, or what is even fair?

Have you gotten work done at that shop? Is that a mild port or a full port and polish?

That would be a full port/polish, bigger valves with valve job and resurfacing of the head. They have a flow bench in house and can flow the head before and after. They average 20% increase in flow over stock head. I have used them for several projects and recently got a built VVT head from them I am looking forward to installing in a high compression build I am working on.

My guess, two weeks. More time waiting for the valves to get here than for him to do the work....
