Just because some parts monkey at Nissan called it an inlet doesn't mean that the compressed air passing through that pipe isn't exiting the turbo's compressor housing, lol.

It's pushing air into the intercooler therefore it's an inlet.

The inlet or outlet??? I am still unsure...

@Artie: 'pushing' and 'inlet' shouldn't be used in the same sentence unless you are referring to a vagina... But we are on a Miata website, so we know that isn't the case...

Do you know what that piece came off of originally?

You sure the one on the left here won't work?

It may work. What is the diameter at the end? 2" or 2.5"? The one on the right is 1.75", right?

Another less than ideal option would be to get an aluminum weld elbow from mcmaster. 1.5" pipe has an OD of 1.9", 2" pipe is 2.375". About $25 for schedule 10 stuff in 90deg. This could be welded to your ATP piece. But for the total cost (ATP piece & weld elbow) you'll be able to get an ebay part that you're looking for, probably for less money. I don't know of your timeframe. Lemme know.

EDIT: I can't seem to find what you are looking for on ebay. Last time I searched for something similar I got a bunch of that angled compressor outlet flanges, this was probably a year ago. Now there only seems to be the straight ATP style. Strange.

Argh! Forgot to check for it last night. Had guests over and didn't stop making food/talking until I went to bed.

MiataMobsters... if you still have my cell # on hand... call me at like 6:15pm central and tell me to check for the elbow
