Default WTB: odds and ends 1.8 internals.

Anyone have...

'01 shortblock with or without crank (low miles prefered in chicago area)
'01+ valvecover
.020+ Wiseco pistons 8.5-8.8 cr
upgraded valve spring set

I'm not in a huge hurry. Let me know if you have anything or will soon.

Valvecover found.
Block found.
Pistons found.

I'm now trying to find an '01 pan and '01 mbsp. Still waiting for a valve spring deal.

I'll have to check that out. Sounds like the best deal so far.

Still looking for the MBSP and 01+ pan.

I sincerely doubt that the MBSP is going to do much of anything. Cast iron mains and block pretty much will keep the crank shaft from going anywhere.

I wonder what mazda's reasoning was on the 01. perhaps they designed that in before they found the problem in the 99 thrust bearings?

hey lazzer, billwilner (miataroadster) sells a MBSP.
