I was under the impression that it was different, like 6 bolts instead of 5, and two of them closer together different.

I like the turbo characteristics, but need something plug and play since I don't have anything native to this footprint to work with.

Yeah, I'm not sure where the misinformation on the GTi-R turbo came from, but it is outline interchangeable with the GT2860RS which is the same as the GT2560R which is the same as the SR20DET T25, etc. The 300ZX T25 is the weird one that uses a different downpipe.
