Default WTB Turbo or Kit for 1.6L

I would like to find at the least a matching manifold/turbo/downpipe combo for a 1.6L.

I would be interested in additions to this including IC, BOV (prefer Bosch type with recirc pipe), intake plumbing and hot side plumbing.

Any help and pointers appreciated. Looking to do most of it myself, I just can't weld for jack. Have a little extra money to play with. Thanks,

Damon

call begi, they are in texas, get the "-S" kit drop the fpr, cross over tubes. get a megasquirt and ebay IC with piping. ~2000$ and you'll be good for 6psi off the start until you get new injectors.

Have injectors and MS on the way.

Still think I can go cheaper (just with more difficulty), and $2K is absolute max, including rear end.

I will look into it more. I think the first time I visited their page my budget was a little more restricted.

Did you see the Greddy kit for $700 on here? Great price, might suit your needs.

I talked with Stephanie at Begi and it sounds like they are going to offer up some lower end kits that are even more bare bones than the S kit. She said their site should have the new offerings sometime this week so keep an eye out. I know I will.

I will definitely keep an eye out. Thanks!

This is a good move by them, as it addresses the problem I'm sure I share with many on kits: all the affordable ones have beaucoup parts that I would replace anyways, and would also require significant investment over the entry price to make real power. I understand this is where the upgraded kits come in, but many of us can't make that initial investment, and our budget would be used up on the lower kits.

I would like to order from them if I can, and I think a bare bones kit would be easily marketable.
