Wanted to loan (preferred).

I need a 1.6 or 1.8l rod... I have those generic ebay forged rods enroute... and want to do comparison measurements and such. I can't do this without a rod to compare with...

Anyone have some sitting around to send me?

 

do they have to be straight? :gay:
I may have a rod with a burnt bearing surface- will that do? If so, PM your address.

 

I think that would, it shouldn't affect that specific measurement too much. Bent might cause issues

 

i have four 1.6 rods just sitting on the ground in my room, you can borrow one or two, or even all four if you would like, but id like em back someday. but not for at least 6 months.

 

I believe m2cupcar is going to send one my way. I'll let you know if anything changes. Hopefully measurements of this ebay rod turn out... and I can get it checked by a machine shop. Would be a nice cheap rod for us to use.

 

might want to get some statistical data from the spare rods to verify tolerances too.
